Overview

A futuristic, ticket-booking interface created for the popular cinema complex - Cine X. We explored VR micro-interactions emulating real-life interactions to make the booking experience as intuitive as possible for the user.

Note: This is a college project. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, businesses, things and/or actual events is purely coincidental.

My role

My team comprised of two people - Husain Zaidi (The Architect) and me (The Designer).

At the conceptualization stage, both of us brainstormed about the user journey from start to finish, aiming to weave a snug-fit solution for our user.

At the execution stage, we played to our strengths. Throughout the user journey, I was involved in conceptualizing and designing micro-interactions.

The challenge: Movie tonight?

Have you ever booked a movie seat online, only to find out at the cinema hall that the seat you picked was simply awful?

Apps these days try to solve that problem by providing a two-dimensional view of the movie theater while booking. But is that the most effective way to meet this challenge head on?
